One taxi instead of three cars
As soon as more than four people want to travel, a normal saloon is full. Our large taxis take up to eight passengers, luggage included. The group stays together, nobody has to drive, nobody has to park, and the evening ends at the same time for everyone.
Booking works two ways: online via the form on this page, by setting the number of passengers to five or more, or by phone on 04321 22200. Our dispatch is staffed around the clock, at night and on weekends too.
More than eight? We send several cars
For larger groups we run two, three or more cars at the same time. You make one booking and we handle the coordination: all cars arrive at the same time and place, or each one picks up at a different address.
That works for the company party with twenty colleagues just as well as for a wedding party heading from the registry office to the reception. The earlier you book, the more neatly we can schedule the cars; for big groups, a few days ahead is ideal.
What group transport costs
Within Neumünster the official taxi tariff applies, for groups too. The meter does the counting, plus a surcharge set by the tariff, but only when more than four passengers actually ride along: €7.00 for five to six people and €10.00 for seven to eight. The surcharge is per journey, not per person; four of you in a large taxi pay no surcharge at all.
Outside the compulsory service area (Pflichtfahrgebiet), for instance to Hamburg, Kiel or Lübeck, we work with a fixed price. It applies per taxi, not per person: the fuller the car, the cheaper it gets per head. All routes are on our fixed prices page, and the booking form shows you the amount before you book.
Occasions we know well
The milestone birthday at a restaurant, a night out in Kiel or Hamburg, a concert at the Holstenhallen: those are the classic group journeys. Best book the return trip straight away, then the car is waiting after the event and you are not queuing with everyone else.
Cruise groups are a chapter of their own. The Ostseekai, Norwegenkai and Schwedenkai terminals in Kiel are around 40 minutes from Neumünster; we drive you and all your suitcases right up to the terminal, and for more than eight passengers we send several cars at the same time.
For weddings our cars will happily shuttle between registry office, church and reception, and late at night we bring the guests home again. Tell us the schedule and we build the driving plan around it.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit in a taxi?
A normal saloon takes four passengers, a large taxi up to eight, luggage included. For more than eight people we send several cars at the same time, all ordered with a single booking.
What is the surcharge for a group?
Within Neumünster the meter charges the official tariff. On top comes a surcharge of €7.00 for five to six passengers and €10.00 for seven to eight, per journey in each case. With four passengers or fewer there is no surcharge, not even in a large taxi.
Is the price per person or per taxi?
Always per taxi. That also goes for fixed-price journeys outside Neumünster, for instance to Hamburg or Kiel: the quoted price covers the whole car, so the more of you travel, the cheaper it gets per head.
Can you send several taxis at once?
Yes. For groups of more than eight we run two or more cars, with different pickup addresses if you like. One booking or one call to 04321 22200 is enough; our dispatch handles the coordination.
Do you take groups to the cruise terminals in Kiel?

Will we still get a taxi late at night after the party?
Yes, our dispatch is staffed around the clock. The safest option is to book your return together with the outward journey; the car will then be waiting at the agreed time, even at three in the morning.
