To the pool without hunting for parking
For most families, a trip to the Bad am Stadtwald starts with bags full of towels, swimwear and snacks. Squeezing all that onto a bus is no fun at all. We collect you at your front door and drop you off right at the entrance.
From every part of town it is a short ride, charged by the meter at the city's official tariff. Getting the car to you costs nothing, even when you book in advance.
The ride home is the real reason
After swimming the children are tired, hair is wet and the bags are heavier than before. That is exactly when nobody wants to stand outside waiting for a bus. Best book the return ride at the same time, and the car will be waiting outside the pool at the agreed hour.
Not sure beforehand how long you will stay? Then call 04321 22200 as soon as everyone is dressed. We send the next available car and you wait indoors in the dry.
Wet swimming things are no problem, by the way. Packed in a bag they simply ride along, our drivers are used to it.
Travelling with children
We bring child seats along if you note the children's ages in the 'Note for the driver' box when booking. Please book at least an hour ahead so the driver can load the right seat.
If two families travel together, a large taxi takes up to eight people. Under the tariff a surcharge only applies when more than four passengers actually ride along: €7.00 for five to six, €10.00 for seven to eight, per journey in each case.
For regular swimmers
Many older guests swim at the same time every week, often in the morning when it is quiet. We schedule fixed rides like these on a standing basis, so you never have to book afresh each time. Wherever possible, the same driver comes every week.
Our drivers help you in and out of the car, and a wheeled walker naturally travels in the boot. Just mention it briefly in the note box and we will send a car with plenty of room.
What the ride costs
Within Neumünster the official taxi tariff applies: a base fare of €4.60 during the day, plus €2.30 per kilometre for the first six kilometres and €1.90 after that. A three kilometre ride works out at around €11.50 in the daytime.
You pay in the car, in cash or by card. A receipt comes straight away on request.
