On time for your appointment at the FEK

A hospital appointment is no moment for hunting parking spaces under time pressure. Tell us the time, we work backwards, allow for the drive from Rendswühren plus a buffer and drop you right at the main entrance.

Our drivers help you in and out of the car if you would like. A wheeled walker or a folding wheelchair travels in the boot; just add a short note in the comments field when you book.

The taximeter does the maths, not us

Rendswühren belongs to the compulsory service area of the Neumünster taxi fare. The official fare therefore applies for the ride into town: a €4.60 base fare during the day, €2.30 per kilometre up to kilometre six, then €1.90. Nobody may deviate from it, not upwards and not downwards.

What the ride roughly costs from your address, the booking form shows in advance as an estimate. In the end the taximeter counts, and the trip out to you in Rendswühren is not on the bill.

Think of the return ride straight away

After an examination you often do not know to the minute when you will be done. Simply call us then and we send the next free car. If the finish time is fixed, book the return ride along with the first, and the car will be waiting at the agreed time.

Keeping the taxi waiting throughout rarely pays: waiting time costs €36 per hour under the fare, from the very first minute. Two separate rides are almost always the better sum.

With a doctor's referral to treatment

If you cannot drive yourself for medical reasons, your doctor can prescribe patient transport; the form is called Muster 4. With it your health insurer can cover the costs; depending on the treatment, prior approval may be needed. Best to clear that up before the first ride.

Recurring rides, for dialysis or radiotherapy for instance, you book with us once; after that we schedule every ride firmly, there and back. Where possible we send you the same driver.

Visiting family

We are happy to drive visitors too, for example to a hospital bedside after work in the evening and back to Rendswühren later. No car park, no drive home in the dark with tired eyes.

Keep the fare calendar in mind: on Sundays and public holidays the night fare with its €5.60 base fare applies all day, as it does Monday to Saturday from 10 pm to 6 am. The price per kilometre stays the same in every case.
