Between Hamburg Airport and Schleswig lie 118.2 kilometres, about 80 minutes with a clear road. We meet you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, carry your bags to the car and drive you through to your destination address.
The price of 175.00 € is for the whole car, not per person. Nothing is added to it afterwards, not at night, not at the weekend, not on a public holiday and not for suitcases. You see the amount before you book and it stays that way.
To the Schlei: cathedral, Gottorf and the Vikings
Schleswig lies at the end of the Schlei, the narrow arm of the Baltic that reaches forty kilometres inland. Above the town stands St Peter's Cathedral with the Bordesholm Altar, carved by Hans Brüggemann at the start of the sixteenth century; by the water crowd the houses of the old fishing settlement of Holm.
Add two museums of rank: Gottorf Castle with the state museums and the Nydam boat, a rowing vessel from the fourth century, and across the Haddebyer Noor the Viking Museum Haithabu, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2018. Whoever travels for that does not want to spend half the day on trains.

We follow your flight number. The driver comes for the time you actually land, not the time on the schedule, and 60 minutes of waiting after landing are part of the fixed price, so you can take the baggage hall at your own pace.
If your flight lands a good deal later, we still drive. A bus or train ticket is worthless by then; a booked car is not.

How long does the drive from Hamburg Airport to Schleswig take?
About 80 minutes for 118.2 kilometres. The rush hour or a queue at the Elbe tunnel can make it longer; we allow for that and keep an eye on your landing time.

Do you also drive to the Viking Museum Haithabu?
Yes. Haithabu lies on the southern shore of the Noor in the neighbouring municipality of Busdorf, a few minutes beyond the town. Enter the museum as your destination and you see the amount before you book; it differs only a little from the Schleswig price.
