The A23 to its end, into the middle of Dithmarschen
Heide is the county town of Dithmarschen, and its market square is held to be the largest unbuilt market square in Germany; market has been held on it every Saturday for centuries. The A23 ends practically at the edge of the town, which makes the drive from Hamburg Airport simpler than the distance suggests: on, through, there.
The route is often driven to the Westküstenkliniken, the big hospital of the region, to the Fachhochschule Westküste or home to the residential quarters around the market. By rail the same journey means: S-Bahn into the city, a change, a regional train, and the last stretch is still missing.

Do you drive on to Büsum by the sea?
Yes, Büsum lies only a good twenty kilometres beyond Heide. It has a price of its own; enter the address of your accommodation on the form and you see the amount before you book.
Do you drive to the Westküstenkliniken?
Yes, up to the entrance. The clinics lie within the town of Heide and fall under the same fixed price of 150.00 €. An invoice comes with it on request.
